Risk Assessment
Our team consists of recognized experts in environmental fate and transport modeling, probability, statistics, biology, and risk-based financial analysis. The President of PANDEY served as chairman and technical advisor of the Fate and Transport Modeling Group, Ohio EPA subcommittee on development of generic standards, Senate Bill 221, Ohio's Voluntary Action Program from 1994 through 1996. He was also a member of the Phase II/ Groundwater Workgroup for the Wave 2 Rule Revision in 2002.
In addition, we have advised Ohio's Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR) regarding acceptable risk-based practices for identification, assessment, and remediation of contamination from Underground Storage Tanks.
Many factors drive environmental risk. Chemical concentrations, toxicities, potential receptors, and pathways for migration and exposure must all be thoroughly assessed. Human health and ecological risk assessments drive environmental decision-making, liability management and financial risk analysis. PANDEY excels in developing innovative, regulatory compliant techniques to evaluate risks from environmental contamination in all media including soils, groundwater, sediments, and air.
